You probably already know about all the benefits of journaling (if not, then definitely check out this blog post). And now it’s time to explore different ways to journal, so you can find the one that works best for you.
Option 1 – Simple notebook
Why we love it: It’s so easy! Just grab a piece of paper or a plain notebook, along with the pen, and you are good to go! No rules, no boundaries – you can write freely about anything you want.
It is for you if: You love writing and have no problem expressing your thoughts in writing. Your thoughts flow naturally, and you enjoy documenting them as they come. Or you just want to try journaling and are not ready to invest in a more expensive tool.
Our choice: Any plain notebook will do it, so just get something from Amazon, or use whatever you already have.
Option 2 – Mindfulness journal
Why we love it: When it comes to journaling, sometimes it can be hard to start. You feel like your thoughts are in chaos, and you struggle to write that first sentence. This is where prompted journals can help. They are your guides in this process – they have specific questions, by answering which you become more self aware.
It is for you if: You are really into mindfulness and are ready to invest in a tool that will help you uplift your life further. Or you just don’t know where to begin.

Option 3 – Digital journal, or journaling mobile app
Why we love it: If you are like us, you are always on the go. And taking a physical journal with you everywhere you go is a luxury that you cannot afford. But your phone is always there in your pocket! Yeah, it’s really hard to beat the convenience that a mobile app offers.
It is for you if: You are a digital person that cannot live without their phone.
